Harding's Men Place 20th at Chile Pepper Cross-Country Festival

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Two freshmen finished among Harding's five scoring runners Friday as the Bisons placed 20th of 33 teams at the Chile Pepper Cross-Country Festival.

Freshman Noah Haileab was Harding's top finisher, placing 49th in 24 minutes, 48.6 seconds (46 points). Sophomore Luke Walling was second among Bison runners, finishing 62nd in 24:58.5 (58 points).

Harding's other scoring runners included junior Zach Reed (137th, 25:38.6, 124 points), junior Jackson Pruim (140th, 25:52.8, 126 points), and freshman Nathan Perry (189th, 26:13.6, 164 points).

Sixth among Harding runners was junior Matt Ingalsbe (200th, 26:19.0, 172 points) and seventh was Tucker Allen (254th, 27:02.5, 206 points).

The Bisons finished with 518 points and will be back in action Oct. 14 at the Lois Davis Invitational, hosted by Southern Arkansas University in Magnolia, Arkansas.
