CLAREMORE, Okla. — The 21st-ranked Rogers State Hillcats defeated the Harding men's soccer team 3-0 Saturday in GAC/MIAA action.
Harding falls to 3-8-1 overall and 1-5-0 in the GAC/MIAA. Rogers State improves to 7-2-2 overall and 4-1-0 in the GAC/MIAA.
Rogers State scored two goals in the first half and adding another in the second half. Erik Hjertsson, Trindon Turner, and Marcos Vasallo were the goal scorers.
TEAM NOTES:
- Harding's loss was its fifth consecutive and seventh in its last eight games.
- Harding was shutout for the fourth time in the last five games.
- Rogers State took 25 shots compared to Harding's seven.
- Harding's last four opponents have attempted 20 or more shots after only two of its first eight opponents shot 20 or more times.

- Rogers State leads the series 6-1-2 and has won the last three meetings ... Harding's lone win was a 1-0 victory in Searcy in 2019.
