OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. – Scoring 10 straight points in the game's final 81 seconds, the Harding men's basketball scored a 92-87 come-from-behind victory over Oklahoma Christian on Saturday at the Eagles' Nest.

Harding shot a sizzling 63.6% from 3-point range, connecting on 14-of-22 attempts.

The victory moved the Bisons to 3-3 on the season, and Oklahoma Christian dropped to 2-3.

Oklahoma Christian led 87-82 with 1:21 left when Harding started its run. Sam Henderson converted an old-fashioned three-point play with 1:09 remaining to cut the lead to 87-85. After an Oklahoma Christian shot clock violation, Keyln McBride knocked home a 3-pointer to give the Bisons an 88-87 lead with 21 ticks left.

Harding extended the lead with a pair of McBride free throws and sealed it with Brahm Harris going 2-for-2 at the line just before time expired.

Henderson led Harding with a career-high 24 points, and McBride matched his career high with six 3s made and scored 22 points. Rylie Marshall also posted a career-high 19 points, and Harris and Sam Smith had 10 points each.

TEAM NOTES

Harding's 3-point shooting percentage was third-best in program history and its best long-range effort since shooting 65.0% (13-of-20) at Ouachita Baptist in 2018 … it is the 11th time a Harding team has shot 60% or better with at least 10 made.
Harding's 14 3-pointers were the most this season and the highest total since connecting on 15 3s vs. Northwestern Oklahoma on Jan. 20, 2022.
Harding shot 50% from the field, its fourth time in six games to make at least half its shots.
Harding had a season-low nine turnovers.

INDIVIDUAL NOTES

Sam Henderson's 24 points were a career high and the most by a Harding player this season … it was his third career 20-point game.
McBride's six 3-pointers made were the most by a Harding player this season … he was the last Bison to make six or more, hitting 6-of-10 against Oklahoma Baptist on Feb. 11, 2023.
Marshall set a new career high with 19 points, the fifth time in six games this season he has scored in double figures.
J.T. Smith made his first start of the season and led HU with four assists and no turnovers … he has 17 assists and five turnovers this season.
