SEARCY, Ark. (AP) — Harding University men's basketball junior Taylor Currie has earned First Team All-Great American Conference honors, the university announced Wednesday.
Currie becomes the sixth Harding player to receive the honor and the first since Jacob Gibson in 2016. His outstanding performance in the GAC earned him the distinction, as he ranked second in the conference with an average of 24.0 points per game and led the GAC with 9.7 rebounds per game.
The 6-foot-11 forward from Clarkston, Michigan, made 267 field goals this season, which is the most in NCAA Division II.
