ARKADELPHIA, Ark. – The Harding volleyball team remained unbeaten in Great American Conference action Tuesday as it defeated Henderson State 3-1 (25-22, 23-25, 25-16, 25-11).
Harding improves to 7-7 on the season and 2-0 in the GAC.
Henderson State falls to 9-5 on the season and 1-1 in the GAC.
FIRST SET
Trailing 14-13 in the first set, Harding went on a 7-3 run on three kills to lead 20-16. Henderson State battled back to pull within one 23-22 but Harding had a kill and forced an attack error to win the set 25-22. Harding had 15 kills and hit .324 in the set.
SECOND SET
Henderson State answered back in the second set jumping out to a 10-6 lead before Harding went on a 4-0 run on three kills to tie the set at 10. Trailing 23-22, the Reddies won the next three points to win the set 25-23. Henderson State had 15 kills and had only four attack errors in the set.
THIRD SET
Trailing 4-3 in the third set, Harding went on a 4-0 run to lead 7-4. Henderson State pulled within one 9-8 before Harding went on a 5-2 run to lead 15-10. The Reddies didn't get any closer than three the rest of the way as the Lady Bisons won the set 25-16. Harding forced seven Henderson State attack errors in the set.
FOURTH SET
Tied at four in the fourth set, Harding went on an 8-1 run on four kills to lead 12-5. Henderson State couldn't overcome the deficit as Harding won the set 25-11. Harding had 14 kills and held the Reddies to only six kills in the set.

- The Lady Bisons had three players in double-figure kills. Logan Smith-Morgan captured a double-double with 12 kills and a season-high 21 digs. Skyler McKinnon and Jacey Lambert each had 11 kills for Harding.
- Harding had 63 digs in the match. Joining Smith-Morgan in double-figure digs was Emma Winiger who had 15.
Henderson State
- Henderson State had 40 kills, 23 attack errors and hit .126 in the match.
- Christiane Uzoh led the team with 16 kills.
- The Reddies had 47 digs with Trinity Sharp having 16.

Harding will continue GAC action Thursday when it hosts Ouachita Baptist in its home opener. First serve is scheduled for 6 p.m., at the Rhodes-Reaves Field House.
