Box Score BETHANY, Okla. – No. 6 Southern Nazarene shot 58% in the second half and erased No. 13 Harding's 12-point halftime lead and defeated the Lady Bisons 60-51 Thursday in Great American Conference women's action at Sawyer Center.
The loss snapped Harding's 11-game winning streak, tied for the fourth-longest in program history, and dropped the Lady Bisons to 11-2 overall and 6-1 in conference. Southern Nazarene won its 24th straight GAC game and improved to 13-0 overall and 7-0 in the GAC.
Harding shot 41% in the first half and held Southern Nazarene to only 24% and led 30-18 at the break.
Southern Nazarene outscored Harding 20-6 in the third quarter. Harding missed its first six shots of the quarter and shot 2-of-13 in the period. The Crimson Storm led 38-36 entering the fourth.
Southern Nazarene made its first six shots of the fourth quarter, including two 3-pointers, and held off Harding down the stretch.
Sage Hawley led Harding with 16 points and 13 rebounds. She was the only Lady Bison with 10 or more points. Rory Geer had nine points, nine rebounds and four assists, Maddi Holt had eight points and Josie Williams had seven points and seven rebounds.
TEAM NOTES
- Harding had only 13 turnovers, its 10th game this season and sixth straight with fewer than 15 turnovers.
- Harding had won its previous five road games prior to Thursday's loss.
- Harding made three 3-pointers after connecting on 22 3s in its last two games … the Lady Bisons made a season-low eight free throws.

- With her 16 points and 13 rebounds, Hawley recorded her GAC-leading seventh double-double … she has a Harding record 46 career double-doubles.
