Bracy's Goal Lifts Harding to First Win of Season in 1-0 Shutout of Ouachita Baptist

Box Score ARKADELPHIA, Ark. — Elliott Bracy scored the game's lone goal, lifting Harding to a 1-0 victory over Ouachita Baptist in a Great American Conference men's soccer matchup Thursday at Kluck Field.

The win marked Harding's first of the season and propelled the Bisons into a sixth-place tie with Ouachita Baptist in the conference standings. Both teams now have three points.

Bracy's goal came at the 61:19 mark, courtesy of long passes from Jaffet Rodriguez and Nojus Grudis. It was Bracy's second goal this season and first since Sept. 5.

Harding goalkeeper Inigo Chavarria secured his first career shutout, making a save on Ouachita Baptist's only shot on goal. The Bisons' shutout was their first this season and first since last season's 2-0 win over Ouachita Baptist.

Harding played with a man down for the final 9:39 after Cian Halpin received a red card for a hard foul, his second infraction in six minutes.

Ouachita Baptist held a 9-8 edge in total shots, but Harding had a 3-1 advantage in shots on goal.

The Bisons (1-8-3, 1-5-0) return to action Saturday, hosting Rogers State at 3 p.m. at the Stevens Soccer Complex in Searcy, Arkansas. Ouachita Baptist fell to 3-8-1 overall and 1-5-0 in conference.
