Harding Women's Soccer Blanks Northwestern Oklahoma, 3-0

ALVA, Okla. — Harding University's women's soccer team secured a commanding 3-0 victory over Northwestern Oklahoma in a Great American Conference matchup on Thursday.

Whitney Thomas sparked the offense with goals in the 53rd and 62nd minutes, her second two-goal performance of her career. Sami Berry sealed the win with a goal in the 82nd minute, assisted by Kloey Fullerton. Fullerton notched her first multiple-assist game.

Harding dominated the matchup, outshooting Northwestern Oklahoma 22-11 overall and 10-7 on shots on goal. Goalkeeper Maysa Willis made seven saves to earn her fourth shutout.

The win propelled Harding to first place in the GAC with 16 points, improving their record to 6-7-1 overall and 5-3-1 in conference play. Northwestern Oklahoma fell to 2-8-5 overall and 0-5-4 in the GAC.

Harding travels to Weatherford, Oklahoma, to face Southwestern Oklahoma on Saturday, Nov. 2.
