Harding Men's Soccer Falls 3-0 at No. 22 Southern Nazarene

BETHANY, Okla. — The 22nd-ranked Southern Nazarene University men's soccer team dominated Harding University 3-0 in a Great American Conference matchup on Saturday.

After a scoreless first half, Southern Nazarene broke through in the 48th minute with Axel Agurcia's low-left shot, assisted by Haruka Miyatake. Lucas Beja doubled the lead in the 68th minute, and Orlando Castro sealed the win with a low-left shot in the 75th minute.

Harding struggled to find momentum, managing only two shots on goal, with its best chance coming in the 64th minute on a shot by Elliott Bracy.

Southern Nazarene's Alex Krivokapic made two saves in 72 minutes, while Harding's Ivan Chavarria stopped seven shots in 70 minutes.

Southern Nazarene outshot Harding 32-2 and held a 11-0 advantage in corner kicks. It was the most shots by a Harding opponent this season and the most since Christian Brothers had 32 in the opening game of the 2023 season.

Harding falls to 1-12-3 overall and 1-9-0 in conference play, while Southern Nazarene improves to 10-3-4 overall and 7-1-3 in the GAC. Harding returns home for its final two games, facing Ouachita Baptist on Nov. 7 and Northeastern State on Nov. 9.
