HU Women's Basketball Extends Home Streak with 84-56 Win Over UCO

SEARCY, Ark. — The Harding Lady Bisons cruised to their 27th consecutive home victory, dominating Central Oklahoma 84-56 on Tuesday in front of a lively crowd of nearly 2,000 local elementary school students attending Kids Day, sponsored by Simmons Bank.

Harding improved to 3-1 on the season, while Central Oklahoma fell to 1-5.

  • Aubrey Isbell led Harding with 20 points, her second straight game with 20 or more points.
  • Sage Hawley recorded her second double-double of the season and 54th of her career with 16 points and 10 rebounds.
  • Josie Williams contributed 11 points and a team-leading four assists.
  • Jordyn Turner paced Central Oklahoma with 17 points and 13 rebounds.

Harding led 16-15 after the first quarter, despite Central Oklahoma shooting 54.5%. The Lady Bisons then exploded on a 17-2 run in the second quarter, scoring 14 straight points to push their lead to 33-17. Harding outscored Central Oklahoma 29-8 in the quarter and led 45-23 at halftime.

In the second half, Harding maintained its momentum, pushing its lead to 63-37 after three quarters and sealing the win with a 21-19 advantage in the fourth quarter.
