Harding Sweeps Northwestern Oklahoma, Advances in GAC Tournament

HOT SPRINGS, Ark. — The Harding University women's volleyball team blanked Northwestern Oklahoma 3-0 in the Great American Conference tournament quarterfinals Thursday at Bank OZK Arena.

The Lady Bisons, now 21-8 overall, secured set victories of 25-22, 25-19 and 25-16.

Jacey Lambert led Harding with 13 kills, while Skyler McKinnon and Delaney Garner added 10 each. Olivia Wiedower recorded 41 assists and 10 digs.

Maegan Lacy paced the defense with 18 digs, and Tatum Fouche and Avery Stanfill contributed 12 digs apiece.

As the No. 2 seed, Harding advances to face No. 3 seed East Central in Friday's semifinals at 2 p.m. Harding and East Central have met only once in the GAC Tournament with Harding winning 3-2 in the 2021 quarterfinal.

Northwestern Oklahoma's season concluded with a 13-16 record.

Harding improved to 23-10 all-time in the GAC Tournament, having claimed championships in 2012, 2018 and 2022.
