Box Score The Harding men's tennis team opened the Spring portion of their season with a 7-0 victory in Conway on Thursday night. The Bisons dropped just one set throughout the whole match.
Hunter DeMunbrun and Florian Gayme started the sweep with a 6-2 victory at No. 3 doubles. The Bisons clinched the doubles point with a 6-3 victory at No. 2 by Caleb Folse and Jaydon Van Vreden. Cas De Ruiter and Cian Mikkelsen wrapped up the doubles action with a 7-5 victory at No. 1.
DeMunbrun picked up a singles victory at No. 6 with a 6-2, 6-2 victory. Edoardo D'Arrigo won by the same 6-2, 6-2 count at No. 5. Gayme picked up his first victory of the season with a 6-3, 6-2 win at No. 4.
Luis Agullo made his Bisons debut and picked up a victory in his first match, winning 6-3, 6-2 at No. 2 singles. Bryce Walker won at No. 3, 6-2, 6-4. Dani Ortiz won in a third set tiebreaker at No. 1, 6-4, 2-6, 10-5.
The Bisons will travel to Clinton, Mississippi next weekend, Feb. 10-11, to take on UT Tyler and Mississippi College.
