PLANO, Texas - The Harding men's tennis team fell 5-2 to Texas Permian Basin on Saturday. 

The Falcons opened the match grabbing the doubles point with victories at No. 2 and No. 3. Cian Mikkelsen and Cas de Ruiter grabbed their fifth straight victory with a 6-2 win at No. 1. 

With the Falcons up 2-0, Bryce Walker put the Bisons on the board with a 6-2, 6-0 victory at No. 6. The Falcons clinched the match with two more victories at No. 4 and No. 2 before Teodor Zlatar picked up the 6-3, 5-7, 6-3 win at No. 3.

Harding's record stands at 2-2 with two additional wins against junior college teams.

The Bisons will return to Texas next weekend for three matches, opening with Lubbock Christian on February 23 at 1 p.m.
