SEARCY – Harding senior post Sage Hawley received D2CCA Second Team All-Central Region honors Thursday.
Hawley, a native of Memphis, Tennessee, averages 15.0 points and 9.7 rebounds per game for the Lady Bisons, who will play Friday against Pittsburg State in the quarterfinals of the NCAA Division II Central Region Tournament.
It is Hawley's second all-region honor. She was a First Team honoree in 2023. Hawley is Harding's first two-time All-Region honoree.
Hawley's 52 career double-doubles ranks second among active Division II players. She is 23rd in career scoring with 1,703 points and seventh with 1,013 rebounds. Hawley is one of only five active NCAA II players with more than 1,500 points and 1,000 rebounds.
