The Harding women's tennis team picked up their tenth victory of the season with a 7-0 sweep over Freed-Hardeman on Wednesday afternoon at the Elliott Tennis Complex. The Lady Bisons are now 10-5 on the season with three additional wins against junior colleges.
Reka Pecsi and Georgia Plunkett picked up their third straight win as a pair, the first of the season at the No. 1 line, winning 6-0. Ella Graham and Kelly Mahawanniarachchi won their third consecutive match, their first in a dual, 6-2.
Ella Graham opened singles action with her second victory of the season at No. 5, winning 6-0, 6-0. Pecsi followed that up with another dominant victory 6-1, 6-0 at No. 2. Mahawanniarachchi picked up the second win of her season, grabbing the 6-1, 6-1 victory at No. 4. Madison Stafford won at No. 1 6-4, 6-2. Itza Rogel picked up her first victory in a dual with a 6-1, 7-6 win at No. 3.
The Lady Bisons will open conference action on Thursday as they travel to No. 11 Southern Arkansas beginning at 2 p.m.
