SEARCY – The Great American Conference released its 2023-24 men's basketball postseason honors Wednesday ahead of the conference tournament beginning Thursday at FireLake Arena in Shawnee, Oklahoma.
Harding's Rylie Marshall, a sophomore from Beebe, Arkansas, earned Second Team All-GAC honors. He is averaging 14.6 points and has made 72 3-pointers this season, the most since Will Francis made 83 in 2017. Marshall is fourth in the GAC in 3-point field goal percentage (42.4) and fifth with 2.57 3-pointers per game.
Harding also had three players earn conference academic honors. Wyatt Gilbert received GAC Elite Scholar Athlete for posting a 4.0 GPA with 70 or more credit hours. Sam Henderson and Davis Morgan took GAC Distinguished Scholar Athlete for posting a 3.7 GPA or higher with 70 or more credit hours.
Harding earned the No. 7 seed in the GAC Tournament and plays No. 2 seed Arkansas Tech on Thursday at noon. Go to HardingSport.com for coverage links to follow the game.
