The Harding men's tennis team fell in the opening round of the NCAA Central Regional #1 as they fell to host Washburn 4-0 on Monday afternoon. The Bisons finish the season 15-9 on the year with three additional wins against junior colleges. 

The match opened with the Ichabods taking the doubles point in come from behind fashion. In both matches at No. 2 and No. 3, the Bisons took the early lead but ultimately fell. Caleb Folse and Jaydon Van Vreden led their set 3-2 before the Ichabods rattled off four straight games to take the set 6-3 at No. 2. The Bisons duo at No. 3, Cian Mikkelsen and Florian Gayme led 4-3 at No. 3 before falling 6-4. 

In singles action, the Ichabods took the first three matches to take the victory 4-0. Teodor Zlatar fell at No. 1, 1-6, 6-3, 3-6. Mikkelsen was blanked 6-0 in his opening set at No. 5 but battled back in set 2 before falling 7-5. Santiago Rendon clinched the match for Washburn with a 6-4, 6-1 victory over Luis Agullo 6-4, 6-1 at No. 4. 

The Bisons finish the season with their 12th NCAA Regional appearance and as the MIAA/GAC Runners-Up.
