EDMOND, Okla. – 41st-ranked Harding men's tennis fell 4-0 to No. 9 Washburn on Friday in the championship match of the GAC/MIAA Tournament.

Harding, ranked No. 5 in the last NCAA Central Region Rankings, fell to 15-8 with the loss and will await word if it qualifies for the Central Region Tournament. Washburn and the next three highest-ranked teams will play for two spots in the NCAA Division II National Championship.

The NCAA selection show for men's tennis will be Monday, May 6 at 7 p.m. on NCAA.com.

Harding collected one win in doubles Friday with Florian Gayme and Cian Mikkelsen winning 6-3 at No. 3.
