Harding Claims Both GAC All-Sports Trophies

RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – On Tuesday, the Great American Conference announced Harding University as the winner of the 2023-24 Commissioner's Cup and the President's Trophy. The Bisons and Lady Bisons captured both All-Sports championships for the third straight season.

The GAC bestows the winner of the Commissioner's Cup to the GAC school that totals the most cumulative points in the 14 countable sports while the President's Trophy goes to the program that earns the highest percentage of points based on the sports they sponsor.
Harding won the Commissioner's Cup for the fifth time and garnered its third President's Trophy.
The Bisons earned outright conference titles in football and men's track & field.
In postseason play, they captured the program's first football national title and placed third in the country in track & field. They shared titles in volleyball and baseball. They added top-three finishes in men's cross country, women's basketball, men's and women's golf, women's track & field and softball.
Harding has won the GAC's all-sports trophy in 2017, 2019, 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024, the 2011 men's all-sports trophy in the Gulf South Conference and the NAIA Arkansas Intercollegiate Conference trophies in 1976, 1981 and 1990-93.
