Record Breaker: Harding's Offense Explodes for 63 Points in Rout of UAM

MONTICELLO, Ark. — Top-ranked Harding routed Arkansas-Monticello 63-3 on Thursday night, extending its winning streak to 22 games.

The Bisons (3-0) scored 35 points in the first quarter, with Andrew Miller rushing for two touchdowns and 78 yards. Blake Delacruz added a 33-yard touchdown run, and Braden Jay scored on a 37-yard rush.

Harding's offense amassed 443 rushing yards, with seven players scoring touchdowns. Cole Keylon threw for 145 yards and two touchdowns.

Ty Dugger had two interceptions, including a pick-six, to lead Harding's defense.

Arkansas-Monticello (2-1) managed just 104 rushing yards and 87 passing yards. Demilon Brown completed 9 of 20 passes but threw three interceptions.

The 60-point victory margin marked the largest in the 59-game series between the teams.

Harding, ranked No. 1 in the AFCA Division II Coaches Poll, looks to continue its streak next Saturday against Henderson State at First Security Stadium.

  • Harding tied the Arkansas collegiate record for consecutive wins (22), set by the University of Arkansas from 1963-65.
  • The Bisons' 35-point first quarter was their highest-scoring quarter since scoring 35 in the second quarter against Southeastern Oklahoma on Oct. 15, 2016.
  • Several Harding players achieved milestones, including Dane Romberger's first career TD reception, Blake Delacruz's 37th career rushing TD, and Jimmy Citty's first career rushing TD.
