Harding Battles to the End, Falls Late at Ouachita Baptist

ARKADELPHIA, Ark. – For 88 hard-fought minutes, Harding men's soccer stood toe-to-toe with Ouachita Baptist in its season finale Thursday afternoon at Kluck Field. But with just 1:17 left on the clock, the Tigers slipped in a late goal to edge the Bisons 1-0.

Behind a composed performance from goalkeeper Rinner Stewart, who recorded four saves, and a back line anchored by Robert Garcia Gomez and Noah Legge, the Bisons frustrated the Ouachita attack for nearly the entire match.

Freshman Loveveer Kullar provided an early spark, putting a shot on frame in the first half, while sophomore Reik Barrack came off the bench to test the Ouachita keeper midway through the second. Maverick McCaig and Nojus Grudis also generated looks as Harding pushed forward late, searching for a breakthrough.

Despite being outshot 13-6, the Bisons held their defensive shape and limited clear chances until the 89th minute, when Ouachita's Jack Langford found space at the top of the box and scored the game's lone goal.

Harding plays its final game of the season Saturday against No. 17 Rogers State.
