RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – Following a fall season defined by championship trophies and historic postseason runs, Harding University sits atop the standings for both the Great American Conference All-Sports Commissioner's Cup and the President's Trophy.
The Bisons have established a commanding presence early in the academic year, holding a 2.5-point lead over rival Ouachita Baptist in the Commissioner's Cup and leading by nearly five percentage points in the President's Trophy race.
Championship Performances
Harding's surge to the top of the standings was powered by regular-season titles in football and women's soccer, along with strong finishes across all fall sports.
-
Football: The Bisons completed their third undefeated regular season in program history. Their dominance has extended into the postseason, where they have advanced to the NCAA Division II National Championship game for the second time in three seasons.
-
Women's Soccer: The Lady Bisons delivered a breakout season, "doubling up" to win both the GAC regular-season title and the GAC Tournament championship—their first tournament crown since 2016.
-
Volleyball: The Lady Bisons contributed significant points to the all-sports standings with a strong second-place finish in the regular season.
-
Cross Country: The men's team secured a third-place finish at the conference meet, while the women's team placed fifth.
The Chase Pack
Ouachita Baptist concluded the fall in second place in both standings, buoyed by a volleyball regular-season title and a runner-up finish in women's cross country.
East Central sits in third for the Commissioner's Cup, while Arkansas Tech holds the third spot in the President's Trophy race.
