MONTICELLO, Ark. — Harding secured the No. 2 seed in the upcoming Great American Conference Tournament with a dominating 89-75 victory over Arkansas-Monticello on Wednesday.
Sage Hawley led Harding with 26 points, making 11 of 18 shots from the field. Rory Geer added 24 points, including a career-high three 3-pointers, and grabbed 10 rebounds for her eighth double-double of the season and 24th of her career.
Maddi Holt chipped in with 17 points, making a career-high four 3-pointers, and Josie Williams had 11 points. Harding shot 53.4% from the field and set a program record with a 73.3% 3-point shooting percentage (11-15).
Bailey Harris led Arkansas-Monticello with 28 points, making 10 of 21 shots, including four 3-pointers. Camille Pritchard added 12 points and Alindsey Long scored 11.
Harding improved to 21-6 overall and 17-4 in Great American Conference games, winning its fourth straight. The Lady Bisons also improved to 9-5 on the road, marking their third consecutive season with at least nine road wins.
The Lady Bisons will host Henderson State on Saturday at 5:30 p.m. at the Rhodes-Reaves Field House for Senior Night.
