Four Harding Men's Track Athletes Earn All-Region Honors

SEARCY, Ark. — Four Harding University men's track and field athletes earned NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field All-Region honors, the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced Tuesday.

Senior Antiwain Jones and juniors Anton Kopytko, Vlad Malykhin and freshman Olaolu Olatunde received the recognition for their top-5 performances in their respective events in the Central Region.

Jones, a high jumper, ranked second in the region with a mark of 2.15 meters (7' 0.5") at the Crimson & Gold Invitational on Dec. 6, 2024.

Kopytko, a long jumper, ranked fifth in the region with a distance of 7.48 meters (24' 6.5") at the Pittsburg State Invitational on Feb. 1, 2025.

Malykhin, a pole vaulter, ranked first in the region after clearing a height of 5.48 meters (17' 11.75") at the Pittsburg State Invitational on Feb. 1, 2025.

Olatunde, a sprinter, ranked fourth in the region with a time of 6.68 seconds in the 60 meters at the Samford January Invite 2025 on Jan. 17, 2025.

The All-Region award recognizes the top-5 individuals in each event from each region, as well as members of the region's top-3 relay teams.
