Two Lady Bisons Headed to Indoor Track and Field Nationals

SEARCY – Harding women's indoor track and field will be represented by two athletes at the NCAA Division II Indoor Track and Field Championships, set for March 13-15 at the Fall Creek Pavilion in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Sophomore Hanna Onufriieva, a native of Kyiv, Ukraine, earned an invitation in the triple jump, ranking 15th nationally with a season-best mark of 12.14 meters (39-10). Onufriieva achieved this feat at the Crimson and Gold Invitational.

Junior Cadence Sansom, hailing from Lago Vista, Texas, secured a spot in the pole vault, ranking 12th nationally with a season-best clearance of 4.03 meters (13-2.5) at the Alex Wilson Invitational.

Both Onufriieva and Sansom will make their indoor national championships debut. The triple jump competition is scheduled for Saturday, March 15, at 2 p.m., while the pole vault event begins on Thursday, March 13, at 2 p.m.
