SEARCY, Ark. (AP) – The No. 16-ranked Harding University men's tennis team defeated No. 46 Southern Arkansas 4-3 on Friday at the Elliott Tennis Complex. Harding improved to 4-0 at home and defeated its third nationally ranked opponent this season. The win was Harding's first over Southern Arkansas since 2021, snapping a four-match skid against the Muleriders.
Harding's Luis Agullo won his three-set singles match to clinch the victory for the Bisons. After Southern Arkansas tied the match 3-3, Agullo defeated Jinsei Tajima 7-5, 2-6, 7-6 (7-2).
Cas de Ruiter defeated his fourth nationally ranked opponent of the season, and Adrian Solorzano defeated his second.
