Harding Women's Golf Makes Fifth Regional Appearance, Earns No. 4 Seed After Strong Season

SEARCY – The Harding women's golf team has been selected as the No. 4 seed for the 2025 NCAA Division II Central Regional Tournament, marking the program's fifth appearance in the regional championships and third consecutive selection, the NCAA announced Monday. Harding also competed in the regional in 2013, 2021, 2023, and 2024.

The Central Regional will be held May 5-7 at KickingBird Golf in Edmond, Oklahoma, and will be hosted by the University of Central Oklahoma. Practice rounds are scheduled for May 4.

Harding is one of 18 teams selected to participate in the regional and enters as the fourth-ranked team in the selection. The Lady Bisons are coming off a strong performance, placing second in the Great American Conference Championship last week in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Throughout the 2024-25 season, Harding has consistently been a top contender, finishing in the top four in eight of its nine tournaments.

Other teams included in the Central Region field are top-seeded Central Missouri, Henderson State, Rogers State, Arkansas Tech, Southwestern Oklahoma State, Arkansas-Fort Smith, Nebraska-Kearney, Missouri Southern State, Augustana (South Dakota), Central Oklahoma, Northwest Missouri State, Washburn, Southern Arkansas, Wayne State (Nebraska), Oklahoma Baptist, Missouri Western, and Minnesota State Mankato.

Six individuals from non-selected teams will also compete in the regional.

The top four teams from the Central Regional will advance to the NCAA Division II Championship Tournament. Harding will travel to Edmond with momentum from their recent success and consistent high-level play, aiming to secure one of those coveted spots. Harding finished fifth at last season's regional tournament.
