Harding Women's Golf Sits Fourth After First Round at Spring Regional Preview

MONKEY ISLAND, Okla. – 43rd-ranked Harding women's golf is currently in fourth place out of 20 teams after the first round at the Spring Regional Preview, hosted by Central Missouri at Shangri-La Country Club, a par-72, 5,813-yard course.

The Lady Bisons shot 7-over 295 in the first round, tying their best round versus par this season. The tournament's final round is scheduled for Tuesday.

Harding's top golfer, 94th-ranked Sarah Kmiecik, shot 1-under 71 and is tied for sixth place, just five strokes behind leader Mia Rallo of Central Missouri.

Pilar Martinez and Sydney Kincade are tied for 18th place at 2-over, while Madeleine Wilson is 30th at 4-over, and Cooper Meyer is 83rd at 12-over.

Notably, Kmiecik and Kincade both scored eagles in the round. Kmiecik achieved a score of 2 on the par-4, 345-yard third hole, and Kincade, who also made a team-best four birdies in her round, scored a 3 on the par-5, 484-yard 16th hole.

Currently, 22nd-ranked Central Missouri leads the tournament at 2-under.
