SEARCY – The 10th-ranked Harding men's track and field team is sending a strong contingent of athletes to the NCAA Division II Outdoor Track and Field National Championships, held at CSU-Pueblo from May 22-24. The Bisons will be represented in a variety of events.

Here's a breakdown of the Harding qualifiers and their respective events:

• Kylor Aguilar (Junior): Aguilar will compete in the men's pole vault seeded 21st with a mark of 5.06 meters. The men's pole vault is scheduled for Thursday, May 22, at 11:05 a.m. (all times Central).

• Yves Bilong (Junior): Bilong qualified for the men's triple jump and is seeded seventh with a mark of 15.60 meters. The men's triple jump is set for Friday, May 23, at 5:05 p.m.

• Hayes Cox (Freshman), Donald Nwamere (Junior), Caledon Ruwende (Freshman), and Olaolu Olatunde (Sophomore): This quartet will represent Harding in the men's 4x100 meter relay. The team enters with the No. 16 seed and a time of 40.24 seconds. The preliminary round is scheduled for Thursday, May 22, at 4:55 p.m.

• Kelmen de Carvalho (Junior): De Carvalho will showcase his versatility in the men's decathlon, entering with a score of 7140 and the No. 6 seed. The decathlon begins on Thursday, May 22, at 10:30 a.m.

• Casen Hammitt (Junior): Hammitt qualified 19th for the men's javelin throw with a mark of 66.21m. The men's javelin throw is scheduled for Saturday, May 24, at 2:45 p.m.

• Spencer Helms (Senior): Helms will compete in the men's discus throw, entering as the ninth seed with a mark of 55.69 meters. The men's discus throw is slated for Friday, May 23, at 5:00 p.m.

• Anton Kopytko (Junior): Kopytko qualified fifth in the men's long jump with a mark of 7.55 meters. The men's long jump is scheduled for Thursday, May 22, at 5:30 p.m.

• Vlad Malykhin (Junior): Malykhin is a top contender in the men's pole vault, entering with an impressive height of 5.65 meters. He will compete alongside Aguilar and Mumme on Thursday, May 22, at 11:05 a.m.

• Everett Mumme (Sophomore): Mumme will join Aguilar and Malykhin in the men's pole vault competition, seeded 10th with a mark of 5.11 meters. The event takes place on Thursday, May 22, at 11:05 a.m.

• Olaolu Olatunde (Sophomore): Olatunde is a double qualifier, competing in both the 100-meter and 200-meter dashes, in addition to the 4x100m relay. He enters sixth with a time of 10.14 seconds in the 100m (prelims on Thursday, May 22, at 6:25 p.m.) and 11th at 20.65 seconds in the 200m (prelims on Friday, May 23, at 5:45 p.m.).

• Caledon Ruwende (Freshman): Ruwende will join Olatunde in the 200-meter dash, as the 17th seed with a time of 20.74 seconds (prelims on Friday, May 23, at 5:45 p.m.), and will also run a leg in the 4x100m relay.

• Lukas Stiper (Senior): Stiper qualified 14th for the men's discus throw with a mark of 54.88 meters. He will compete on Friday, May 23, at 5:00 p.m.
