WARRENSBURG, Mo. — Harding women's soccer dropped a 7-2 decision to No. 15 Central Missouri of the MIAA on Sunday afternoon at South Recreation Complex.

The Jennies struck early and often, building a 3-0 lead in the first 25 minutes behind a hat trick from Mikayla Ernst. She opened the scoring in the ninth minute off a pass from Izzy Joyce, then added goals in the 18th and 25th minutes.

Central Missouri extended its advantage in the second half when Coryn Jespersen scored in the 50th minute and Ernst tallied her fourth goal in the 58th minute.

Harding broke through in the 79th minute when Regan Thompson scored her first goal of the season. The Jennies answered with two goals from Alexandra Hofbauer in the 87th minute, before the Lady Bisons capped the scoring in the 90th as Mykala Ulrich scored her first goal, assisted by Kloey Fullerton.

The Lady Bisons open conference play this Saturday, Sept. 27, against East Central at 11 a.m. at Stevens Smith Soccer Complex.
