EDMOND, Okla. — The Harding men's golf team shattered the program record for the lowest team score in a single round on Monday, firing a blistering 15-under 265 in the second round of the Skip Wagnon Invitational at Kickingbird Golf Club.

Harding sits in fourth place in the 18-team field at 16-under par 544 (279-265) following 36 holes of play on the par-70, 6,964-yard layout.

3rd-year Ethan Law sparked the record-setting afternoon, firing a career-best 6-under 64 in Round 2. Law's 64 tied the lowest individual round in Harding men's golf history, making him just the third Bison to record the milestone alongside Trevor Mellott (2022) and Dennis Staykov (2025). Law carded six birdies without a bogey in his historic second round to leap into a tie for 14th place at 5-under 135 (71-64).

Harding's second-round team score of 265 crushed the previous program mark of 269, set at the 2022 Natural State Golf Classic and matched at the 2025 Great American Conference Championships. All four counting scores for the Bisons in the afternoon were sub-70.

Joining Law in the sub-70 barrage was 3rd-year Austin Bibb, who carded a 4-under 66 with four birdies and an eagle on the par-5 14th. 2nd-year William Pulley turned in a 3-under 67, and 4th-year Easton Denney posted a 2-under 68.

Pulley matched Law as Harding's top overall finisher on Day 1, tying for 14th at 5-under 135 after opening with a 2-under 68 in the morning. Bibb (71-66) and Denney (69-68) sit tied for 22nd at 3-under 137.

4th-year Conner Geist, competing as an individual, also sits tied for 22nd at 3-under 137 after carding rounds of 70 and 67. Geist recorded two eagles on the day, sinking eagle putts on the par-5 fourth in Round 1 and the par-5 14th in Round 2. 1st-year Salvador Villagomez Gomez rounded out the Bison lineup in a tie for 67th at 4-over 144 (71-73).

Tournament host Central Oklahoma leads the field at 38-under 522 (261-261), followed by Oklahoma Christian in second (-19, 541) and Arkansas Tech in third (-18, 542). Central Oklahoma's Nicholas Canales holds the 36-hole individual lead at 14-under 126 (62-64).

The final round of the Skip Wagnon Invitational concludes Tuesday morning at Kickingbird Golf Club.
