No. 11 Harding Holds Steady in Latest WBCA National Poll

SEARCY, Ark. — The Harding Lady Bisons maintained their position as one of the nation's elite programs Tuesday, remaining at No. 11 in the latest WBCA NCAA Division II Coaches' Poll.

Harding (18-3) earned 333 total points in the voting, holding firm in the same spot they occupied in last week's rankings. The Lady Bisons are coming off a high-powered offensive performance in which they defeated Ouachita Baptist 94-77, two days after defeating Southern Nazarene 50-47 earlier in the week.

The poll saw significant movement at the top, as Minnesota State Mankato (24-0) surged into the No. 1 spot with 23 first-place votes after previously undefeated Grand Valley State (21-1) suffered its first loss of the season. Texas Woman's (20-1) climbed to No. 2, while Grand Valley State dropped to No. 3.

Harding is no longer the lone representative from the Great American Conference in the Top 25. Arkansas Tech (16-3) made its season debut in the national rankings, jumping from the "others receiving votes" category to No. 25. The Golden Suns currently sit tied with Harding for the lead in the GAC standings with identical 12-3 conference records.

The Lady Bisons have now been ranked in the Top 15 for the duration of the 2026 calendar year, establishing themselves as a mainstay in the national conversation as the postseason approaches.

Harding is one of four teams from the Central Region currently ranked in the Top 25, joining No. 1 Minnesota State, No. 7 Fort Hays State, and No. 20 Pittsburg State.

The WBCA Coaches Poll is voted on by a committee of 23 head coaches representing each of the Division II conferences.
