SEARCY, Ark. – Following a string of consistent performances to open the spring season, the Harding women's golf team is firmly positioned for a postseason run, appearing at No. 9 in the Central Region in the latest Clippd national rankings released Wednesday.
The Lady Bisons, led by head coach Samuel Tandy, currently hold a national rank of No. 59 in Division II. The rankings reflect a highly successful 2025-26 campaign to date, characterized by a 76-18-1 head-to-head record and an adjusted team scoring average of 309.3.
Model of Consistency
Harding has proven to be a mainstay at the top of the leaderboard this season. Through seven stroke-play events, the Lady Bisons have secured five top-three finishes. Notable highlights include runner-up performances at the Battle for the Belt and the MWSU Holiday Inn Express Invitational during the fall, as well as a third-place finish at last week's Diffee Ford Lincoln Invitational.
The team's most recent outing at the Arkansas Collegiate, where they finished fourth in a 12-team field, helped solidify their top-10 regional status.
Individual Standings
The Lady Bisons feature a veteran-led roster with three players currently ranked among the top 250 individuals in the nation:
Other ranked contributors include freshman Vivian Volion (No. 456), junior Cooper Meyer (No. 468), and sophomore Sidney Gainor (No. 693).
Postseason Picture
With a regional rank of No. 9, Harding is well within the threshold for the NCAA Division II Central Regional. Historically, the top 18 teams in the region earn an invitation to the postseason, which will take place this May in St. Joseph, Missouri.
The Lady Bisons will look to bolster their resume further as they prepare for their next road trip to South Carolina at the end of the month.
