SEARCY – Three Harding University football standouts—fifth-year running back Andrew Miller, third-year offensive lineman Cobe Williams, and fifth-year defensive lineman Justin Sobczak—have been named to the 2026 D2Football.com Elite 100 Watch List, the publication announced.
Compiled by the staff at D2Football.com with input from sitting head coaches and professional football scout Josh Buchanan, the prestigious watch list highlights the premier players across NCAA Division II entering the 2026 season. The team was revealed Wednesday evening during a special edition of Inside D2Football.
Miller earned First Team Offense honors at running back, while Williams (Second Team Offense) and Sobczak (Second Team Defense) were both selected to the second team.
Andrew Miller | Fifth-Year | Running Back | Searcy, Ark. Miller enters his final campaign as one of the most decorated players in the country. The 2025 Harlon Hill Trophy runner-up and Darren McFadden Award winner shattered single-season Harding records last fall with 2,048 rushing yards and 28 touchdowns while averaging 7.16 yards per carry. A consensus First-Team All-American in 2025, Miller was also recently named to Bruce Feldman's 2026 College Football "Freaks List" at No. 92 nationally.
Cobe Williams | Third-Year | Offensive Line | The Woodlands, Texas Williams anchors the offensive line for Harding's historic flexbone attack. A First-Team All-GAC selection in 2025, the 6-foot, 305-pound lineman started all 16 games last fall for an offense that set NCAA all-division records with 6,943 rushing yards and 88 rushing touchdowns while averaging 433.9 rushing yards per game.
Justin Sobczak | Fifth-Year | Defensive Line | Cabot, Ark. Sobczak returns as a primary playmaker upfront for a Bison defense that led NCAA Division II in scoring defense (12.8 points per game) and red-zone defense (51.7%) in 2025. A First-Team All-GAC honoree, the 6-foot-6, 260-pound defensive end registered 43 tackles, 11.5 tackles for loss, 8.0 sacks, six pass breakups, and three forced fumbles last season.
The three selections lead a Bison squad chosen as the unanimous favorite in the 2026 Great American Conference Preseason Coaches' Poll.
Harding opens the 2026 season at First Security Stadium on Thursday, Sept. 3, hosting Northwestern Oklahoma State at 6 p.m.
