NORMAN, Okla. — Four members of the Harding men's golf team received national academic honors on Monday, as Jose Arzu, Austin Bibb, Conner Geist, and Dennis Staykov were selected as 2025-26 NCAA Division II Cobalt Golf All-America Scholars by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA).

Harding was one of just 22 Division II programs in the country to feature at least four honorees on the list, which recognized a total of 209 student-athletes nationwide.

To be eligible for Cobalt Golf All-America Scholar nomination, an individual must be a sophomore, junior, or senior both academically and athletically in NCAA Division II. Student-athletes must also participate in at least 50 percent of their team's competitive rounds, maintain a stroke average under 78.0, carry a cumulative grade-point average of 3.20 or higher, and remain in good standing at their university.

Harding Honorees

• Jose Arzu (Junior | Guatemala City, Guatemala): An international business major carrying a 3.40 GPA, Arzu earns his first All-America Scholar honor after a stellar junior campaign. On the course, he registered a 72.84 stroke average over 31 rounds, earned First Team All-GAC and PING All-Central Region honors, and finished seventh in the region in the final Clippd rankings.

• Austin Bibb (Junior | Eads, Tenn.): Bibb adds to a decorated academic offseason that also includes CSC Academic All-District honors. A finance major with a 3.95 GPA, Bibb posted a 76.35 stroke average across 31 rounds and competed in all 11 events for the Bisons.

• Conner Geist (Senior | Wichita, Kan.): Geist caps off his senior year with another national academic accolade alongside his CSC Academic All-District selection. A finance major holding a 3.58 GPA, Geist recorded four rounds of par or better and a 76.92 stroke average over 25 rounds.

• Dennis Staykov (Junior | Sofia, Bulgaria): A civil engineering major with a 3.37 GPA, the GAC Player of the Year and PING Honorable Mention All-American adds another milestone to his historic season. Staykov, who led the Central Region with a program-record 71.44 stroke average across 25 rounds, captured his second GAC individual title and tied for fourth at the NCAA Regional.
