SEARCY, Ark. — The Harding women's soccer team dominated possession and fired 36 total shots, but was forced to settle for a 0-0 draw against Rogers State at Stevens Soccer Complex.
Despite controlling the tempo from the opening kickoff, the Lady Bisons (1-1-1) could not break through a resilient Hillcat defense and goalkeeper Eliza Naegle, who turned nine shots on goal to preserve the clean sheet.
Harding unleashed a relentless assault, racking up 15 shot attempts in the first half and 21 in the second, while holding Rogers State (1-1-1) to just four total shots and none on target.
Norah Neely helped anchor the Lady Bisons' attack with four shots (one on goal), while Maddie Adams and Sara Daniel also generated chances on frame. Harding's set-piece pressure was equally imposing, earning seven corner kicks to Rogers State's three.
Harding goalkeeper Maysa Willis played all 90 minutes in net, posting her second shutout of the season without having to record a save due to a strong performance from the Lady Bisons' defensive unit.
The Lady Bisons return to action on Friday, Sept. 11, when they host No. 10 Central Missouri at Stevens Soccer Complex.
