Career - Transferred to Harding from Alabama in August 2009 ... has his bachelor's degree from Alabama and is working on a master's degree at Harding.

Previous Schools - Redshirted at Alabama in 2008 and did not play in 2009 ... played two seasons at Shelton State Community College in Tuscaloosa, Ala., in 2006 and 2007 ... as a sophomore, Nappi made 27 relief appearances and posted a 4-2 record with three saves and a 2.58 ERA ... he struck out 54 in 38.1 innings and helped lead Shelton State to the NJCAA College World Series ... as a freshman, he had a 1.16 ERA with 19 strikeouts in 23.1 innings covering 17 relief appearances ... a 2005 graduate of Oak Mountain High School in Birmingham where he was a three-year starter for Coach Lee Gann.
