At Harding
Bradley Spencer joined the Harding University basketball staff as an assistant coach for the 2023-24 season.
In his first year, he helped the Bisons reach the GAC Tournament for the first time since 2016-17. The team also had one All-GAC honoree, two GAC Distinguished Scholar Athletes, one GAC Elite Scholar Athlete, and six Academic All-GAC recipients.
Building on that momentum in the 2024-25 season, Spencer helped the Bisons to an even more successful campaign, as they became GAC Tournament champions and qualified for the NCAA Tournament. The team's achievements in 2024-25 also included three All-GAC performers, one GAC Elite Scholar Athlete, and three Academic All-GAC recipients.
Before Harding
Spencer coached at Lonoke High School, Har-Ber High School and Central Arkansas Christian.
Playing Career
Spencer played 112 games for the Bisons from 2009-13, scoring 1,025 points and averaging 9.2 points per game. He ranks among Harding's career leaders in points, assists and steals, leading Harding in steals three consecutive seasons. Spencer earned honorable mention All-Great American Conference in 2013.
Education
Spencer earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in management information systems in May 2013. He added a Master of Arts in Teaching from Southern Arkansas University in 2017 and is working on an Ed.S. in educational leadership from Arkansas State University.
Family
He is married to the former Makala McNair of Alpena, Arkansas, a member of the Harding women's basketball team in 2008-09. The couple have three children--Olivia, Havyn and Navie.
