  • Led HU, ranked third in the GSC, and ranked 16th in NCAA II in scoring average (22.0 points per game).
    • Ranked sixth in an HU single-season in scoring average … highest scoring average since Rolando Garcia averaged 25.4 points per game in 1990-91.
      • His 639 points ranked fifth in an HU single-season.
    • Scored 20 points or more 21 times, tying for the most in the GSC in 2006-07.
    • Scored 30 points or more four times, including a season-high 36 points against Arkansas Tech (2/15).
    • Ranked third in scoring in GSC games (23.5 ppg).
  • Led HU with 6.6 rebounds per game.
    • Ranked ninth in the GSC with 5.0 defensive rebounds per game.
    • Ranked eight in GSC games with 7.4 rebounds per game.
    • Had 10 or more rebounds six times, including a season-high 14 rebounds vs. Valdosta State (3/2) in the GSC Tournament … recorded double-doubles in all six games.
  • Set a GSC record with 199 free throws made … attempted 241 free throws.
    • Shot 82.6% FT to rank sixth in the GSC.
    • Made more than 10 free throws in a game seven times, including a GSC season-high 16-of-17 vs. Southern Arkansas (1/25).
      • The 16 FT ranked second in an HU single game and was the most since Huel Evans made 21 FT vs. Ouachita Baptist in 1959.
    • His 199 FT were the most by an HU player since Stan Eckwood made 227 FT in 1978-79.
    • Ranked ninth in FT% in GSC games (81.9).
  • Shot a team-best 51.3 FG% … connected on 36 three-pointers (3rd on HU) … led HU with 15 blocks.
2005-06
  • Played 10 minutes of HU’s opener vs. Missouri-Rolla before injuring his knee and missing the rest of the season.
 
2004-05 – Games/Starts: 27/25
·         Earned conference and regional player of the year honors after leading the GSC and ranking 15th in NCAA II in scoring at 21.1 points per game.
o        Scored in double figures in 24 of 25 games played … scored 20 or more points 14 times and 30 or more points five times … scored a season-high 37 points vs. Delta State (2/3/05) … shot 14-of-25 from the field and 6-of-9 from the foul line.
·         Ranked second on the team with 5.3 rebounds per game.
·         Ranked ninth in GSC in field goal percentage at 51.5%.
·         Shot 136-of-193 (70.5%) from the foul line.
 
2003-04 – Games/Starts: 28/28
  • Started every game as a redshirt freshman forward.
  • Ranked second on the team at 13.3 points and 5.5 rebounds per game.
    • Scored 20 or more points four times, including a 26-point effort against Delta State (1/8)
    • Notched two double-doubles, collecting 18 points and 10 rebounds against Southwest Baptist (12/13) and 15 points and a season-high 13 rebounds at Southern Arkansas (1/15).

  • Earned all-district, all-region, and all-state honors in leading DeQueen High School to a 19-12 record and a berth in the Class AAA State Tournament
