Michael Gragg

AT HARDING
Michael Gragg is in his sixth year as Harding's head strength and conditioning coach. He joined the staff in January 2021 and is responsible for overseeing the strength and conditioning programs for Harding’s 18-team athletic department.

In addition to his coaching duties, Gragg serves as an instructor in the Department of Exercise and Sport Sciences.

PRIOR TO HARDING
Before returning to his alma mater, Gragg served as the assistant strength and conditioning coach at Northern Arizona University from 2019-21.

In 2018-19, he was the graduate assistant strength and conditioning coach at Texas Christian University (TCU). He also gained experience working in strength and conditioning at Dechant Sports Performance in 2018 and 2019.

Gragg holds certifications from:

  • National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA)

  • USA Weightlifting

  • American Red Cross

  • American Heart Association

PLAYING CAREER
A former Bison student-athlete, Gragg played in 43 games with 20 starts as an offensive lineman during his Harding career (2013-17). He was a three-time Academic All-GAC selection and started all 15 games at left tackle during the Bisons' historic run to the NCAA Division II national semifinals in 2017.

EDUCATION
Gragg earned his Bachelor of Science in exercise and sports science from Harding in 2016 and his Master of Science in education in 2018.
