JACKSON, Tenn. - The Harding women's soccer team picked up their second win of the season on Friday defeating Lambuth, 5-0. Four Lady Bisons picked up their first goals on the season in the match. The win moves the Lady Bisons to 2-6-1 on the season.
The Lady Bisons didn't take long to get on the board. Paola Eusse received a pass from Briana Meek for her first goal on the season. Eleven minutes later Meek picked up her second assist when she kicked a cross to Megan Przeczewski for her first goal on the season. In the 29th minute, Hayley Withrow sent a pass to Kellie DeAtley in which she put in the back of the net for her first goal of the season.
Harding's career goal leader Chelsea Brandon picked up her first and second goals on the season in the match. Her first goal came five minutes into the second half and her second goal came three minutes later on a pass from Shayna Nail.
The Lady Bison goalkeeper Hannah Douglas picked up her first career shutout in the match only facing one shot in the match in which she saved.
Harding outshot Lambuth 18-1 in the match. Fifteen of Harding's 18 shots came on goal.
The Lady Bisons are back in action Sunday traveling to Pensacola, Fla., to face #2 West Florida at 12:30 p.m.
