Lady Bison Soccer Faces North Alabama on Friday

SEARCY – The Harding women's soccer team travels to Florence, Ala., on Friday to take on North Alabama at 7 p.m. The Lady Bisons look to snap the Lions 10-game winning streak. Harding heads into the match with a 5-6-1 overall record and a 2-1 GSC record.

Harding is 6-5-1 all-time against North Alabama. When the two teams met last season, the Lions took home a 3-0 victory in Searcy.

The Lady Bisons are led by junior forward Paola Eusse who has six goals, ranking her seventh in the GSC. Freshman forward Adriana Lucar isn't far behind her with four goals. She also leads the team in assists with six.

North Alabama (11-2-0 overall and 3-0 GSC) is led by Chloe Roberts who has 20 goals, ranking her first in the GSC. Nikki Brown leads the Lions in assists with 10, tying her for first in the GSC.  North Alabama leads the GSC in goals against average, only allowing 1.10 a game. They also lead the GSC in shots per game, averaging 19.69.

Harding currently ranks tenth in the NCAA Division II South Region. It's the first time the Lady Bisons have been ranked in the south region since Oct. 24, 2007, when Harding was also ranked tenth. North Alabama ranks sixth.
