SEARCY – The Harding women's soccer team takes a break from Great American Conference action and travels East this weekend as they face Alabama-Huntsville on Friday at 1 p.m., in Huntsville, Ala., and West Florida on Sunday at 12:30 p.m., in Pensacola, Fla. The Lady Bisons head into the weekend with a 3-6 overall record.
Harding is led by sophomore forward Adriana Lucar who has seven goals on the season. Freshman midfielder Mirlinda Lushi leads the Lady Bisons in assists with three. She also has three goals .
As a team, Harding averages 13.6 shots and 1.44 goals per game.
Alabama-Huntsville, a NCAA Division II member of the Gulf South Conference, heads into the game on Friday with a 2-7-1 overall record. The Lady Chargers have three players with three goals on the season – Khadijah Jannah, Luting Sun and Cady Reisman.
West Florida, a NCAA Division II member of the GSC, heads into the game on Sunday with a 6-2-2 overall record after winning their last six games. The Argonauts are led by Tina Murray who has 10 goals and five assists on the season. UWF averages 2.30 goals and 5.1 shots a game.
