PENSACOLA, Fla. – The Harding women's soccer team gave up two early goals as they fell to West Florida 2-1 on Sunday afternoon in non-conference action. The Lady Bisons fall to 3-7-1 on the season.

The Argonauts didn't take long to get on the board. In the sixth minute, Tori Fish scored on a goal mouth scramble. Eleven minutes later, Taylor Harbison found an open Jordan Stone in the box to put West Florida up 2-0.

Harding played solid defense as they stopped the Argonauts attack the rest of way but couldn't find the back of the net.

West Florida took 21 shots; eight of them were on goal.

With three second remaining in the game, a West Florida foul in the box gave sophomore forward Adriana Lucar a chance to keep the Argonauts from recording their fourth consecutive shutout on the Lady Bisons. Lucar converted the penalty kick for her tenth goal of the season.  

Harding will be back in action on Tuesday as they host Central Oklahoma in non-conference action at 5 p.m., at the Harding Soccer Field.
