CONWAY, Ark. – Freshman midfielder Mirlinda Lushi scored three goals to lift the Harding women's soccer team over Central Baptist 6-1 on Tuesday  in non-conference action. The Lady Bisons improved to 3-3 on the season.

Lushi's goals were the first three of her career. It was the second time this season a Lady Bison has scored three goals in a game. Sophomore forward Adriana Lucar scored three in the last game against Hendrix, also played in Conway. 

Lushi picked up the game winner and scored her first goal in the 44th minute off a corner kick by freshman midfielder Anne Fitzgerald.

Two other Lady Bisons scored their first career goals. Fitzgerald scored in the 15th minute to tie the game 1-1 and Jenna Taylor scored in the 74th minute. Taylor also assisted Lushi's second (82nd minute) and third (86th minute) goals.

Lucar, Harding's scoring leader, scored her seventh goal of the season in the 78th minute.

Katy Baldrige scored the lone goal for Central Baptist (2-5) in the 10th minute.

The Lady Bisons will be back in action on Friday as they host East Central at 7 p.m., in Great American Conference action.
