SEARCY – The Harding women's soccer team will play their first home game on Monday as they host John Brown. The two teams were scheduled to play last Saturday but due to eight inches of rain the game was moved to Monday at 4 p.m.

HU looks to bounce back after a 2-0 season opening loss to Christian Brothers last Thursday in Memphis. Junior forward Jenna Taylor had two shots against the Lady Bucs including one on goal. Freshman forward Ellie Buttram came off the bench and also had two shots, one on goal.

Harding is 7-6-1 in home openers. The Lady Bisons have won their last two home openers.

John Brown is from Siloam Springs, Ark., and is a member of the NAIA. The Eagles are 0-2 on the season. JBU is led by sophomore forward Laura Garcia who has two goals on the season.

Harding and John Brown have only met once before in 2002. The Lady Bisons defeated the Eagles 5-1.
