•    Harding will be seeking its 17th victory over the last two seasons. The Bisons were 9-2 last season and are 7-2 this season. Harding has won 17 games in consecutive seasons only one other time -- in 1972 (10-1) and 1973 (7-3). Harding has never won eight or more games in consecutive seasons.

•    Saturday's game will highlight two of the Great American Conference's defensive standouts. Harding features senior defensive end Daniel Riley, who leads the GAC with 9.0 sacks, while Arkansas Tech senior defensive back Deandre' Bonner leads the conference with seven interceptions.

•    Harding is coming off a 52-30 victory over East Central on Saturday at First Security Stadium. The Bisons set school records with 10 sacks and 19 tackles for loss and limited the Tigers to -21 rushing yards.

•    Arkansas Tech is coming off a 37-34 overtime victory over Southeastern Oklahoma on Saturday in Russellville. Randy Velazquez kicked the game-winning 38-yard field goal.

•    Harding has scored 20 or more points in the first nine games for only the second time in program history, matching the feat of the 1996 team. The Bisons have never scored more than 20 points in every game of a season.

•    Harding enters the game as D2's leader in rushing yards per game (373.3), yards per rush (6.56), and rushing touchdowns (45). The Bisons' 45 rushing touchdowns are a school record, breaking the previous mark of 38 set in 2011. Harding is also on pace to break the record for rushing yards per game (360.9 in 2011) and yards per rush (6.33 in 1972).

•    Harding could become only the fifth Division II team since 2008 to reach 50 rushing touchdowns in a season. The others are Carson-Newman (52, 2012), Midwestern St. (54, 2011), Northwest Missouri State (50, 2011), and Minnesota Duluth (50, 2009).

•    Harding is the only team in Division II ranked in the top four in both rushing offense (1st) and rushing defense (4th, 74.3).

•    Harding also leads D2 with 23.64 yards per pass completion. The Bisons average 5.60 more yards per reception than second-place Mo. Southern St. (18.04).

•    Harding has scored a touchdown in 30 of 36 quarters played this season. The Bisons have scored on 39 of their 43 trips to the red zone, including 36 touchdowns (35 rushing, 1 passing). HU's 90.7% success rate is second in the GAC and 10th in Division II.

•    Harding leads the GAC and ranks fifth in Division II with 3.78 sacks per game. The Bisons set a school record with 10 sacks vs. East Central.

•    Harding and Arkansas Tech are meeting for the 51st time with the Wonder Boys leading the series 30-20. Arkansas Tech has won 18 of the 24 meetings in Russellville, including the last three. Harding has won the last two meetings, both in Searcy, and last won in Russellville in 2002.

•    Saturday's game is the last of 10 GAC games for the Bisons. The 2013 season has been the first in program history that every game of the regular season is a conference game.
