Harding

- Harding opens its 16th season of intercollegiate soccer when it hosts Drury on Thursday at the Stevens Soccer Complex. The Bisons are 5-8-2 in season openers. It will be the third time in program history that HU has opened their season against Drury. The Panthers won the first game 2-1 in 2005 and the two teams tied the last season opener 1-1 in 2006.

- The Bisons return 17 letterwinners, including 10 starters, off last season's team that finished 7-9-2 overall and 4-5-1 in the Great American Conference.

- Harding's leading returning scorer is senior forward Jenna Taylor, who led the Lady Bisons with six goals and tied for the team lead with three assists last season.

- Harding is coached by Dr. Greg Harris, who is in his 13th season as head coach of the Lady Bisons.

Drury

- Drury is a member of the NCAA Division II Great Lakes Valley Conference and has an undergraduate enrollment of about 1,600 students.

- The Panthers finished 9-7-3 overall last season and finished ninth in the GLVC with a 7-6-2 record.

- The Panthers are coached by Alf Bilbao who is in his 10th season.

The Series

- Drury leads the series 3-2-1 overall. The last meeting between the two teams was in 2011 in Springfield, Mo., as Harding fell 2-1. The last HU win came in 2010 in Searcy as the Lady Bisons walked away with a 1-0 victory. Harding leads the series in Searcy 2-1.

- The two teams have combined to score 15 goals in the six previous games. The most HU goals scored against Drury was in 2008 in Searcy as Harding won 3-2.
