SEARCY – Junior guard A'ndrea Haney and sophomore guard Lundon Williams each had 18 points to lead the Harding women's basketball team to a 69-47 victory over Christian Brothers in non-conference action on Monday at the Rhodes-Reaves Field House.

Williams made a career-high six 3-pointers for Harding which is tied for fifth most in a game in Harding history. Sophomore forward Sydney Layrock finished with 12 points, making 8-of-10 from the free throw line.

Christian Brothers led was led by junior forward Samantha Reeves who had 14 points.

RECORDS
Harding captured its third straight win as it improves to 3-1 overall. Christian Brothers played its first game on the season on Monday and falls to 0-1.

FIRST QUARTER HIGHLIGHTS
Harding and Christian Brothers were tied at 13 after the end of the first quarter. Both teams made five baskets in the quarter. Between the two teams, 22 shots were missed. Sophomore guard Falan Miller grabbed six of her team nine nine rebounds for Harding.

SECOND QUARTER HIGHLIGHTS
The Lady Bisons led 28-22 at halftime. Harding scored 15 points in the second quarter and held Christian Brothers to nine. The Lady Bisons were 2-of-9 from behind the 3-point line in the quarter.

THIRD QUARTER HIGHLIGHTS
Harding led 48-32 after the end of the third quarter. Lundon Williams went 2-for-2 from behind the 3-point line and the Lady Bisons made 7-of-8 from the free throw line. Harding scored 20 points in the quarter.

FOURTH QUARTER HIGHLIGHTS
Harding scored 21 points in the fourth quarter to seal the win. Williams made two more 3-pointers and Harding was 6-of-7 from the free throw line. A'ndrea Haney had three steals in the quarter. Christian Brothers outrebounded Harding 11-7.

TEAM STATS
Harding shot 36.2 percent from the field, making 21 shots. The Lady Bisons made 10 3-pointers in the game and it was the second straight game they have made 10 or more.

Christian Brothers shot 33.9 percent and made 19 buckets. The Lady Bucs were 6-of-20 from behind the 3-point line.

Christian Brothers outrebounded Harding 42-35. The Lady Bucs had two players finish with 10 or more rebounds.

INDIVIDUAL STATS
It was the third time this season both Haney and Williams have made 10 or more points in a game. It was also a season-high for both players.
Haney scored her 600th career point in the game. She needed nine coming in. Haney joins 33 other Harding players that have scored 600 points in their career.
