DENTON, Texas – The Harding volleyball team defeated Texas A&M-International 3-1 but fell to Cameron 3-0 on the final day of the Hilton Garden Inn Classic hosted by Texas Woman's on Saturday.

TEXAS A&M-INTERNATIONAL MATCH RECAP
Harding jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the match after winning the first two sets, both by a score of 25-22. The Lady Bisons dropped the third set 25-17 before dominating the fourth set 25-12.
HU-TAMU-I TEAM STATS
Harding had 58 kills and a better hitting percentage (.253-.163).
The Lady Bisons held Texas A&M-International to 43 kills in the match. The Dustdevils had nine reception errors and only 59 digs in the four sets.
Harding had nine service aces and six blocks.
HU-TAMU-I INDIVIDUAL STATS
Harding was led by senior outside hitter Molly Howard and freshman outside hitter Zoe Hardin who each had 14 kills. Howard registered her third straight double-double by adding 11 digs.
Junior setter Abigail Glosup had 48 assists for the Lady Bisons and 15 digs. Hardin and freshman right-side hitter Emma Reeves each had three blocks for Harding.
Texas A&M-International was led by Paula Mrowczynska who had a double-double with 11 kills and 10 digs.
CAMERON MATCH RECAP
The two teams fought for the lead in the first set as the teams exchanged points until the Aggies won two straight points to win 29-27. Harding jumped out to a 10-4 lead in the second set before giving up a 10-0 run by Cameron. The Lady Bisons only scored seven more points as the Aggies took a 2-0 lead in the match after a 25-17 victory. Cameron took an early 11-7 lead in the third set and won 25-15.
HU-CU TEAM STATS
Harding had a season-low 36 kills in the match and were held to only eight kills in the third set.
Cameron had 58 kills and hit .326 in the match. The Aggies had three players with double-figure kills.
HU-CU INDIVIDUAL STATS
Molly Howard led the Lady Bisons with 14 kills. Freshman outside hitter Madison Poen had 12 digs to lead the Harding defense.
Cameron was led by Kat Evans who had 19 kills and 16 digs. Jordan Williams had 13 kills and 11 digs and hit .429.

Harding Head Coach Meredith Fear: "We had a good win this morning getting a big point spread in the fourth that we were looking for. The loss this afternoon was to a solid, well-rounded team, Cameron. We learned a lot this weekend and will be looking to even out our play and more consistent next weekend."

Harding will take part in the Lindewood Tournament held in St. Charles, Missouri next weekend. The Lady Bisons will open the tournament against No. 21 Arkansas-Fort Smith on Friday at 1 p.m.
